2. Information you give us

When you request an estimate, submit a contact form, apply for a job, or start a chat on our site, we collect the information you provide. Depending on the form, this includes:

  • Your name
  • Phone number
  • Email address
  • Property address and the city, town, or county where the work would be done
  • Details about your roof, your project, or your question
  • For job applicants: work history and any other information included in your application

You choose what to send us. If you leave a field blank, we do not have that information.

3. Information collected automatically

Approximate location. Our estimate request forms use a geolocation feature that records the approximate location a form was submitted from, along with the IP address. We use this to route your request to the nearest of our three offices and to confirm the property is inside our service area.

Website analytics. We use Google Analytics through Google Tag Manager and Google Site Kit to understand how visitors find and use our site — pages viewed, time on page, referring source, device type, and general region. This data is tied to a random identifier, not to your name.

Session recording. We use Hotjar, which records how visitors interact with our pages: mouse movement, scrolling, clicks, and general session behavior. This helps us find pages that are confusing or broken. Hotjar assigns a random identifier and does not record what you type into form fields. You can opt out at hotjar.com/legal/compliance/opt-out.

Live chat. Our site uses Crisp for live chat. If you start a conversation, Crisp stores the message content, your IP address, browser information, and the pages you visited on our site. Chat transcripts are retained so we can follow up on your inquiry.

Advertising and measurement tags. We run advertising through Google Ads and Meta (Facebook and Instagram). The Meta Pixel and Google advertising tags on our site record that you visited, which pages you looked at, and whether you submitted a form. This lets us measure which ads produce real inquiries and show follow-up ads to people who visited but did not get in touch.

Marketing platform. We use Klaviyo to manage our marketing lists and send messages to people who have asked to hear from us. Klaviyo receives contact information you provide and records whether you open or click our messages.

Ad fraud protection. We use ClickCease to detect fraudulent clicks on our paid advertising. It records IP addresses and click behavior on our ads.

Server logs. Our hosting provider keeps standard access logs including IP addresses, timestamps, and requested pages.

  • Schedule and perform an inspection or roofing work at your property
  • Route your inquiry to the office that covers your county
  • Send project updates, photo reports, quotes, invoices, and warranty documents
  • Consider job applications
  • Measure which marketing brings in real customers, and improve our site
  • Show relevant advertising to people who have visited our site
  • Keep records required for our business, insurance, and licensing obligations

We do not sell your personal information. We do not use your personal information to train large language models.

We share information only with parties that help us run our business, and only as needed:

  • Meta (Facebook, Instagram) — advertising and measurement
  • Hotjar — session recording and site usability
  • Crisp — live chat on our website
  • Klaviyo — marketing list management and messaging

  • WPForms — form submission processing
  • Our hosting and email providers — running the site and receiving your messages
  • Financing partners — only if you specifically apply for project financing
  • Insurance carriers and adjusters — only if you ask us to work with your insurer on a claim
  • Suppliers, manufacturers, and subcontractors — only as needed to order materials, register a warranty, or complete your project

We may also disclose information when required by law, in response to a valid legal request, or to protect our rights, our employees, or the safety of others.

6. Calls, texts, and messages

If you give us your phone number on one of our forms, we use it to contact you about that inquiry and, if you become a customer, about your project. A person from the nearest office calls you — we do not use automated dialing or prerecorded messages, and we do not call people who have not contacted us first.

We do not sell, rent, or share your phone number with third-party marketers.

You can ask us to stop contacting you at any time by telling us on a call, replying STOP to a text, or emailing homeevolution518@gmail.com. We keep a do-not-contact list across all three of our offices.

7. Cookies and similar technologies

Our site uses cookies and similar technologies for three purposes: keeping the site working, measuring traffic, and advertising.

You can control cookies through your browser settings. Blocking all cookies may prevent parts of our site, including the chat window and the estimate forms, from working properly.

We keep inquiry and project records for as long as needed to serve you and to meet our business, warranty, tax, insurance, and licensing obligations. Roofing warranties run for decades, so project records are kept long-term. Chat transcripts and analytics data are kept for shorter periods set by those services.

You may ask us to:

  • Tell you what information we hold about you
  • Correct information that is wrong
  • Delete your information, where we are not required to keep it
  • Stop contacting you
  • Stop using your information for advertising
